ACC Announces New Executive Director
Carmine Branagan will assume the position of executive director of the American Craft Council (ACC), left vacant after Jeffrey Larris departure in August 2001.
Branagan has held positions in audience development, fund raising, marketing, public affairs and publishing for nonprofit art and education institutions. Since 1998, she has been director of development and public relations for the Convent of the Sacred Heart, a private girls school in New York City. She also served in this capacity with the Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart in Miami, Fla., for three years.
Prior to joining the Sacred Heart schools, Branagan was vice president for marketing and public relations for the New World Symphony in Miami, and vice president and senior vice president for publishing for the National Audubon Society.
